Janice founded Ageing Asia – Asia’s first ageing market consultancy social enterprise, with the mission to drive innovation in the way future generations age, by engaging the business community to create better products and services that will enable healthy ageing, independent ageing and dignified ageing. Janice has accumulated her vast experience from visiting over 300 residential and aged care homes from over 15 countries.  Since 2009, she has been actively involved in consulting organisations seeking global best practices in housing, health and care models that can be translated for the Asian market. Janice is also quoted regularly in the media, such as the BBC, on Asia Pacific business trends in ageing. Janice has also launched several industry innovations, including, ASPIRE55 Singapore – Asia’s first virtual retirement village, a wellbeing community that offers a combination of social, health and care services, but enables members to continue living in their existing homes.

As the General Manager at Ageing Asia – Asia’s first business of ageing market consultancy social enterprise, Sylwin oversees the administration and operational aspects of the company. With over 15 years of experience building partnerships and rapport with various top decision makers from IT, financial, government, transport, healthcare to manufacturing sector, Sylwin has been instrumental in developing the company’s core competencies. Since joining Ageing Asia in 2012, Sylwin has been actively engaging in discussions with key industry stakeholders, and constantly kept updated on the latest trends in Asia Pacific’s ageing market. Sylwin is also the Head of Business Development at Ageing Asia. She continually seeks to enhance the quality of Ageing Asia’s B2B platform, and build business for her clients and partners to access the region’s ageing market. Sylwin is an Indonesian who has lived in Singapore for over 15 years. She holds an Honours in Bachelor of Management from the University of London, and has a passion for wine & yoga.


 Joanne Tan    


Happiness comes from the mind and the heart 

As the marketing communications team lead at Ageing Asia, Joanne oversees the corporate marketing and branding activities as well as manages the editorial direction of the company’s publications and e-magazine. Being the primary liaison for all media matters on the corporate front, Joanne is also involved in the conceptualising and execution of PR activities for the company's flagship programmes. Her portfolio includes community engagement where she is responsible for partnership engagement activities with tertiary institutions, TACs and community representatives. Joanne started out with one of the PEO leaders in Asia, and has 15 years of experience in events marketing, content research, and events management. During the course of her professional journey, she has ventured into different industry sectors, giving her the versatility to excel in different environment.


Jeff Chan 2    


Health and happiness are the essence of life 

Jeffrey started his career with Ageing Asia as a content producer. With his transition to the business development team in 2014, he has been instrumental in helping to develop the growth of the company. Having close to five years of working experience with Ageing Asia, Jeffrey has built his insights on global health and elderly care trends, and manages good rapport with key stakeholders in the industry. Jeffrey has also assumed project management roles in industry trainings programmes such as the Ageing Asia Leadership Workshop in New Zealand and Ageing-in-place Australia. He is also involved in the management and growth of the Ageing Asia Alliance – Asia Pacific’s first industry network on the business of ageing. Jeffrey has a BSc (Hons) in Business from the University of London. He is an avid soccer player and enjoys swimming.


Mary Ann Lee    


Happiness is the feeling of contentment living a purposeful & positive life

Mary Ann started off her career in banking sales before she stumbled upon events management 4 years later. She fell in love with it and made it her career passion with over 5 years of experience in events management to date. As the operations lead at Ageing Asia, Mary Ann oversees the end-to-end logistics of the events and industry trainings that Ageing Asia organises. She is also responsible for maintaining the cost effectiveness of our events while maintaining good relationships with our network of suppliers. Educated at the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce, Mary Ann believes that education is only a passport to the beginning of your career but it does not dictate who you will be in life.


 Abrielle Lau    


Happiness is made, not given 

Abrielle is an account manager-turned-producer. Passionate about the healthcare industry, especially the ageing sector drew her to Ageing Asia. She had worked for Singapore’s leading security company, Certis Cisco, as an Account Manager where she identify potentials, generate revenue and market share and handle accounts worth millions for the company. Today as a content producer, she strives to generate new ideas and create business-changing content that resonate with the audiences. 





Daphne Ooi    


Happiness is a choice

At Ageing Asia, Daphne is responsible for all administrative as well as office support. She enjoys dancing and reading during her free time. She is also actively involved in community service projects to do her part for the society. She strongly believes that the secret of success is kindness. Kindness is the sunshine in which virtue grows.
